Hello cuties 😘, today I m going to share my experience on the two top Indian toners of India. Moreover, I would also suggest you that which will be good for your skin type as well. First, I would like to tell you that a good facial toner(Biotique and reequil ) will help to unclog the skin pores by removing the traces of dirt and excess oil while maintaining the ph level of your skin and will leave it moisturized as well.    

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS

REEQUIL PORE TIGHTENING TONER:

Re’equil Pore Refining Face Toner is an alcohol free formula that protects your skin from drying out and does not strip the skin off its own moisturisers. Nine botanical extracts help to regulate sebum production and help to relieve skin from any acne caused inflammation. This toner helps to deep cleanse, maintain skin pH balance and remove skin debris through a very mild and gentle astringent action. The skin feels fresh, toned and revived after every application.

BIOTIQUE BIO CUCUMBER TONER: 

Cucumber is one of primordial cooling and purifying plants in nature with many beneficial health benefits. It is known to reduce skin puffiness and tiredness, and to restore natural skin freshness and tone.                                                                      

Packaging:

Let’s start with the packaging of the boutique toner. It comes in a sturdy bottle that has a round movable cap. The bottle is simple and can be travel friendly too, just make sure to tighten the cap while closing. It is not much attractive as compared to the reequil one. Just one thing that makes it better is the transparent bottle which actually shows u that how much u have used it to date which is not in the reequil one. If we talk about the reequil toner’s packaging,it also comes in a white bottle with a transparent cap which will show you the cute pump inside it. Well, I must add this point that the pump ones are really good if you are someone who is not good at taking the appropriate quantity. I like the reequil toner’s packaging better than the biotique one.                                    

Price and quantity:

biotique bio cucumber toner: INR 175 for 120ml,

reequil pore tightening toner: INR 350 for 100ml.

How to use:

For both the toners, simply take few drops into a cotton ball and apply on your skin in upward strokes. If your hands are clean take a few drops into your palm ,rub to spread it and pat it lightly on your face.

My experience on these product:

BIOTIQUE BIO CUCUMBER TONER: 

I bought it because it claimed to be 100% ayurvedic. This is the very and only thing that made me try this product. Biotique toner was the very first toner which I introduced to my face. The fragrance is somewhat mild and refreshing as well. Its consistency is like water, when taken on a cotton ball it appears to be light green in color. Well, my skin type is somewhat between combination to oily and yes it did its job well. It is a boon for the oily skin beauties and not only just clears the skin but also gives a moisturizing effect to it. It really helped to control the oil and thus mattified it. One can definitely feel the softness after usage.

But, it did nothing to the skin pores and they were like closed temporarily when I do apply it, but after some hours they were back with the dull appearance. My mom also used this for somewhat one month I guess, and she said that the product is good regarding the tightening of the skin. She also added that it also helps to ease the puffiness around her eyes and she personally loved its fragrance as well.

It restores the freshness and provides a cooling effect to the skin which is helpful in tanning and sunburns during summers. The product is ayurvedic and authentic with no animal testing. If I were asked to suggest it to someone I would suggest the product to normal, combination, and oily skin ones. Dry and sensitive skin beauties should stay away from it because it can result in overdrying your skin.

REEQUIL PORE TIGHTENING TONER:

I must add that currently I am using this product and I am much impressed by it. The fact that it has in its name ” pore tightening”, it stands on what it claims. Well, I have gone through some comments saying that it does nothing for the pores but personally I do think that it helps to shrink them. Not only it does helps the pores but also it helps to control acne. Its consistency is the same as water and it is transparent when taken on a cotton ball. Its fragrance is mild which makes it super for those people who have a sensitive nose. 

It claims to have nine botanical extracts like witch hazel, ivy, and sage. It helps to fight blackheads and whiteheads too. The product is free from parabens, sulfates, silicones or mineral oils which makes it useful for even the sensitive skin ones. The products are dermatologically tested and are non- comedogenic( would not clog pores) which assures us that they would be safe to use. I would suggest it to all skin types, people having a tough time regarding acne can give it a try as well.

Overall verdict:

I personally liked the reequil toner better than the biotique one because it helped me greatly regarding the pores. If I were asked to compare the fragrance, the reequil’s one was milder than the boutique one. Though, biotique toner is affordable than the reequil one. Both of them need at least one month to show what they are worth. Remember, nothing is like magic, one needs patience and understanding. But again everyone’s skin is different and it has different needs as well, so analyze your skin and observe what it needs. The above all was my personal perspective and experience.
