The webseries revolve around a small artist and Painter Sunny(Shahid Kapoor) who’s special talent is making a portait of anybody in 5 minutes and can copy any image flawlessly.
He sell his painting at some cafe but he was not happy with his job because of the customer bargain and also no body respects his talent.
He lives with his parental grandfather, his mother died when he was of 6 and father ran away when sunny was young as he was highly in debt.
Sunny and firoz were fellow orphans and befriended on railway plateform before the Madhav Gangadhar(parental grandfather) has adopted both of them.
Sunny is dating Ananya (Kavya Praveen Thapar). She belongs to a rich family and ignore the fact that Sunny is of a lower class. In between the scene Ratan Lal (Shiv Dev Singh) and his son Aashirwad (Happy Ranajit), enters they have lent the money to the Madhav. It was the huge amount and they have given 1 month to repay the loan.
Madhav realised that he will not able to pay the money in the short notice period and decided to discontinue his Patrika and close the printing press. Sunny knows that how much the news paper means to his grandfather. He tried all possible way to collect the money but he failed to do so and this was the time when the idea of printing the counterfeit money strikes in his mind.
With his immense talent he was able to create the exact replica of 500 rupee note and secretly they executed the program of printing the currency notes in the Madhav’s printing press.
With the help of their good friend Anees (Saqib Ayub) and his acquaintance Sketch Manjha (Suyash Zunjurke), they meet Lakdawala (Lokesh Mittal), who agrees to buy their notes and pay them handsomely. with this money they were able to pay back the money and prevented their grandfather’s press.
Michael Vednayagam (Vijay Sethupathi), a bold officer who believed that the flow of conterfeit currency shoud be stopped and he takes the all the preventive and administrative measures to blok the flow of the counterfiet currrency. He created the special task force for this purpose only. He takes Megha Vyas(Rashi Khanna) of in his team as he was impressed with her for the invention of CT-600, a chip that can detect the fake notes.
Sunny(Shahid Kapoor)was not the main target of the Special Task Force but the Mansoor dalal(Kay Kay Menon) who was the biggest player in the market of counterfiet currency.
In the Farzi webseries you will get the delicious taste of thrill, action and crime. The story is well connect to each of the episodes. Shahid Kapoor, Kay Kay Menon, Vijay Sethupati all 3 are known for their fine acting.
