“ZINDA HAI KOI ….. KOI ZINDA HAI “
led you to think the statement being a palindrome but suggested you watch the movie to actually know the significance of the statement
The 1919 Jalianwalabagh massacre is not where the movie ends but the point from where The transformation of a boy begins from Sher Singh to Sardar Udham Singh.
The genre yet typically historical needs just a favor to make the audience awestruck i.e. PATIENCE. This movie surely is not a typical Bollywood yet a film if known worldwide can bring even an Oscar.
How a person born on 13th April 1919 the blood date goes on to the streets of London to assassinate in a townhall the general cum criminal who ordered an unclaimed firing on unarmed men just for some entertainment.
This movie takes along multiple stories together and yet with so much clarity which is actually a troublesome job. Bang on the detailings the movie dealt with so as to catch the audiences’ breathe. The horrifying blind shooting, the action sequences will leave the watchers in a deep shock of how unsung heroes of our time needed nothing but freedom. The dialogues of the movie will make you proud of our Indian martyrs and the same level of hatred towards the rulers.
The movie has glimpses of the mystical friendship between Sardar Udham Singh and BHAGAT SINGH who gathered to die but not stop. The historical dates will be etched in your minds even after 2 & 1/2 hours that amazing was the direction.
The movie is certainly not for entertainment but an eye-opener. For Netflix and chill kinda people is not the right choice.
Concluding with a routined yet relatable meme line
“KEEP CALM AND WATCH SARDAR UDHAM ” (you won’t regret it)
