As in one’s skincare routine, moisturizers play a significant role. Picking out the right moisturising cream is a game and if you win it, you will certainly fall in love with your skin. My take on product
Cetaphil Moisturising Cream is for both, face and the body. It contains the goodness of almond oil and vitamin E, which will protect and help to retain skin’s natural moisture barrier and will help to heal the outermost layer of skin. It won’t clog pores, has a non-greasy formula, won’t irritate the skin, fragrance-free formula, and is of course dermatologically tested too.
These things make this cream even soothe the sensitive skin which means that it can suit to all skin types. It claims to provide a long-lasting moisturization.
Overall verdict
As I used this cream, I can say for sure that it provides moisturisation but, oily skin people can find it a bit heavier and greasier.
Since I have slightly oily skin, this cream went well with me in the winters, but I can’t use it in summers because it feels a bit heavier. I can’t agree with it’s claim for all skin types and that it has a nongreasy formula. Besides these facts, I really liked the cream in winter. It acted well as a primer and was a good base for my makeup, of course, I am talking about winters. Moreover, it is non- comedogenic, so it won’t clog the pores and one can easily blend their makeup.
A pea-sized amount is enough for my whole face. The cream is white in color and it had no smell at all. Yes, it is not that greasy on the skin but still, oily skin people would not like it in summers. It is best for extremely dry skin people and dry sensitive skin people. Using it in winter nights, gave me a soft and healthy glow the next morning. It blends quickly and finely. Remember this is not a facial cream for fairness or brightness but for a soft, supple, and healing skin. At least, that’s what I believe. Will surely use it the next winter too.
